Kids 3-5yrs:
The 3-5 year olds meet every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 4pm-4:45pm with Coach Ricky Briceno. We focus on helping them improve their coordination by teaching them essential introductory Brazilian Jiu Jitsu techniques and games that will prepare them for the next class. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu will help them learn how to pay attention and be more disciplined, as well as provide a healthy outlet for them to get rid of energy in a constructive way.
Kids 4-8yrs:
The 4-8 year old class meets Monday-Friday at 5pm with Coach Nisar and Coach Ricky. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu will help improve their confidence on and off the mat. They will be learning more advanced techniques and problem solving skills. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is also a great way to learn self defense while still having fun and forming new friendships in a safe environment.
Kids 8-14yrs:
The 8-14 year olds meet Monday-Friday at 5pm with Prof. Andre Galvao, Prof. Joshua Hinger, and Coach Mike Carbullido, and Saturday at 10am with Prof. Michael Perez. By this age a lot of the kids want to compete, which will help them cope with wins and losses and teach them the importance of hard work. The kids are learning much more advanced techniques at this point while still improving their coordination and athleticism in a fun way.
All of our kids classes are taught by world class instructors just like our adult classes. We understand the importance of a nurturing learning environment and we believe that the practice of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is seen as a means to individual development and personal growth. Strength, self-awareness, respect, discipline and responsibility are common core values taught within our Kid’s Program. The program is structured to teach technique through functional games aimed to improve your child’s agility and flexibility in a fun, friendly, and interactive manner.
