Congratulations to all the students who got promoted this past week!
Pablo Mantovani and Heather Raftery both won bronze at Worlds this past weekend and they are now two of Atos Jiu Jitsu’s newest black belts.
Rolando Samson was also promoted to black belt after winning silver at Worlds.
Kaynan Duarte (top) won his division at Worlds and Jonnatas Gracie (bottom) won his division as well as absolute. We are excited to see what they do at brown belt.
Adam Bradley (middle) got 3rd at Worlds, him and Alex Sturner (top) are on to conquer purple belt now.
Coach Ricky Briceno, one of the kids instructors, was also promoted to purple this past week.
Demian Balderrama (top) and Connor DeAngelis (bottom) won gold at Worlds and were both promoted to purple belt on the podium. Watch out for these new purple belt killers!
Chase Namba placed 3rd at Worlds and is ready to start his blue belt journey. Kristeine Gong fought her way to a silver metal at Worlds and received her well deserved blue belt.
Atos Jiu Jitsu brought home 24 gold, 14 silver, and 19 bronze metals. We did not win one or two golds, we had 24 people from the team became World Champions. That is no small thing, what an amazing performance Team Atos!
