Professor Andre Galvao is one of the best competitors of all times in Jiu Jitsu history, and one of the best teachers from the art building a solid team and making world champions on and off the mat from kids to adults (male & female).
Prof Galvao trains Jiu Jitsu for over 20 years and has a lot of experience teaching & competing. He started very young, always studying, practicing, drilling and learning from the best. “When I was a little kid I used to practice and training soccer, spccer used to be my dream, at 12 I got my first jiu jitsu lesson and I felt in love with the art. As soon as I learned my first submission I left soccer right way knowing that I found my real passion. Jiu Jitsu became my number one sport since then, and I never stop it. I just love it so much because you can always learn every single day and the training is never the same” said the Head Coach of Team Atos JJ Prof Andre Galvao.
We have a solid team by the leadership and professor’s example on and off the mat. Professor Galvao moved from Brazil to San Diego Ca in 2010, since then he worked very hard and today his school (Atos HQ) is the biggest and the best jiu jitsu facility not only in San Diego Ca but also world wide. “I always believed in hard work, I know whatever I sow today I will reap later”.
Professor Andre Galvao is a 3rd degree black belt teaching seminars all over the world showing the essence of his jiu jitsu style and philosophy (most of the time on the weekends). Today he is the Team Atos Jiu Jitsu President working daily to keep his students at high level knowing the importance of building leaders. “My goal is to show my students that they are capable to be great in many areas of their life, Jiu Jitsu is one of the tools that will help them to develop it”
