Europeans marks the first major event of the year, and as always Atos Jiu Jitsu had a great showing! As a team, Atos won the 3rd place trophy for Adult Women, and the 2nd place trophy for Juveniles. We want to congratulate all of our athletes who competed!
Three of Atos HQ’s own took the 16-hour journey across the world to Lisbon, Portugal to take part in this prestigious tournament. Black belt Andris Brunovskis, and brown belts Dominique Bell and Heather Raftery competed, and all had great fights. Andris won bronze in the Black Belt lightweight category, and Dominique got gold in his division as well as bronze in the absolute.
Also, congrats to all Atos Jiu Jitsu athletes from our affiliations around the world. Many of them placed, and even became European champions. Special congrats to the gold medalists:
