Atos black belts swept the board this past weekend at the Asian Open each winning gold in their divisions. Congratulations Andris Brunovskis, Lucas “Hulk” Barbosa, Keenan Cornelius, and Victor Toledo on the gold medals; and also Keenan and Lucas for closing out the absolute division. Atos, with the help of AOJ’s talented blue and purple belts, won the adult male team title at the Asian Open. The team almost snagged the female adult title as well losing out on first by just a single point.
We would also like to congratulate Rolando Sampson on an extremely successful black belt debut at the Mexico City Open this past weekend. Rolando won gold in his gi division and silver in the absolute, and then went on to win double gold in no gi. What a terrific start to black belt!
