The Dream Team Dominates the 2025 Brasileiro
This past weekend at the 2025 CBJJ Brasileiro, Team Atos made history – and once again, it was the women of the Dream Team who stole the show.
When the Dream Team first formed, they were a group of talented juveniles chasing big dreams. Today, they’re champions at the highest level of the sport.
Now, with several of them climbing through the adult ranks, the Dream Team is not just living up to the hype – they’re rewriting what’s possible for women in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu:
Sarah Galvao: Double Gold Champion
It was a dominant weekend for Sarah Galvao, who continues her incredible 2025 season by claiming Gold in the Brown Belt Lightweight Division and gold in the Absolute Division.

Her performance was technical and focused. It left no doubt: Sarah is one of the most exciting fighters in women’s Jiu-Jitsu today.
Emily Leyva: Fourth Brazilian Title and Counting
American standout Emily Leyva added another gold to her collection, winning the Purple Belt Light-Featherweight Division. She also claimed bronze in the Absolute.
This marks her fourth Brasileiro title in just three years, a remarkable feat for the young featherweight. Emily continues to show incredible maturity and consistency under pressure, with a game that evolves every time she steps on the mat.
Lillian Marchand: Middleweight Champion
Canada’s own Lillian Marchand took home gold in the Brown Belt Middleweight Division, adding to her growing list of accomplishments this season.
She also secured bronze in the Absolute, cementing her place among the top brown belts in the world.
Leticia Teixeira: Heavyweight Gold
Leticia Teixeira brought power and precision to the mats, winning gold in the Brown Belt Heavyweight Division.
Her performance showed why she’s considered one of the most dominant forces in her weight class.
Alexa Herse: Blue Belt Breakthrough
Rounding out the Dream Team’s incredible performance was Alexa Herse, who secured gold in the Blue Belt Featherweight Division.
Still early in her competitive journey, Alexa is already showing the promise and poise of a champion.

The Dream Team’s results at the 2025 Brasileiro are proof of what’s possible when talent meets mentorship, consistency, and hard work.
These young women continue to train with purpose, support one another fiercely, and perform with maturity beyond their years. And perhaps most importantly, they represent the core values of Atos HQ – discipline, humility and leadership.
