Yesterday morning at Atos HQ, we kicked off the year with our first competition class of 2024 💪🏽
It’s important for me to see students motivated at the beginning of the year. However, what’s more important is that they maintain this motivation throughout the year. Jiu-Jitsu isn’t a seasonal sport – we train all year round, so consistency is key.
Consistency means showing up and training hard, of course…
But to be consistent with your Jiu-Jitsu training, you also need to apply that same consistency to your diet, your strength and conditioning routines, and even to your resting routine.
This is the secret shared by all the most successful competitors at Team Atos.
I try to apply consistency to all aspects of my life: my coaching, family life, emails, social media, creating and recording instructionals…
It’s this mindset that helped me create the most consistently-updated Jiu-Jitsu platform – Atos BJJ On Demand. We’ve already uploaded techniques from yesterday’s classes on the site, to make sure our subscribers can keep learning directly from us on a day-to-day basis…
It’s also the reason I’m running my 5-Day January Bootcamp starting next Monday (click here to sign up for free.) I want to help you build and maintain consistent learning habits from the beginning of the year 🔥
Let me end this email by inviting you to share with me one aspect of your life that you want to be consistent with over the coming months.
Whether it’s your training, parenthood, diet… Whatever! Accountability is always key to maintaining good habits and discipline. Just reply directly to this email to share your plan – I read all the responses I get ✨
