What a night of fights!
I’m so proud of my team and my students – I see how hard they work every day, and it’s important for me that they see the fruits of their work.
Five Atos athletes entered the IBJJF Grand Prix. And all five emerged victorious!
Natã Tenca was up first, and put on an impressive performance against a super tough opponent.
Then it was my beautiful daughter Sarah’s turn 💜
Throughout the fight she hunted for submissions, winning with a dominant performance over Sabrina Lourenço, another brilliant World Champion athlete.

Then it was Andy Murasaki’s turn. His opponent, Mathias Luna, is super tough, but Andy managed to finish the fight with an amazing arm bar.
As always, Kade Ruotolo brought fire 🔥 with his high-energy game.
His front flip passing technique reminded me of this moment in my own career 😅
Then it was Kaynan’s turn. Competing in a tough eight man bracket, he fought his way to the final to take on one of the toughest BJJ fighters in his division, Giancarlo Bodoni.

Coaching these amazing athletes and seeing these results brings me so much joy and meaning in life.
