The Challenges That Put You in the Spotlight 🤩

If you’re a student of mine, you’ve probably heard me say this:

“Everyone wants to be in the spotlight but no one wants to face challenges that put you there.”

What this means…

Most people want easy fights 😅

But not my students.

Life is greater when we face big challenges and overcome them.

The cool thing is that if there’s a big event, there’s guaranteed to be an Atos fighter competing…

Because every time we bring the fire 🔥

For example, last Thursday, Kade Ruotolo fought against a really tough opponent: Natan Cheung.

Natan is always on the podium at all the major IBJJF tournaments.

He has defeated many world champions before… He’s TOUGH.

But Kade put on a show AND secured his victory in an outstanding performance.

You probably saw the highlights… What makes this crazier is that it was Kade’s first performance wearing the Gi.

You see at Atos, we’re dedicating ourselves not only to become champions but also to impact the BJJ community.

We’ll continue to fight the best, and do our very best.

Because that’s the only way to say for sure: “we are the best” ⚔️🛡️

I’m proud of our students.

We need to keep on facing the things that take us out of our comfort zone.

We need to face and embrace each challenge and if we don’t achieve the outcome we want we know we will grow with that and we will learn…

That’s the mentality of champions 🤍
