With the 2024 IBJJF Pan Kids tournament just around the corner, I asked our kids coaches – Andy Murasaki and Arthur Mariath – to give us a short preview of what to expect.
We see the kids in our programs develop so much self-confidence, respect (for each other and their coaches), and technical skills.
They also learn from a young age how to defend themselves, how to stay healthy throughout their lives, and how to show leadership.
I truly believe that Jiu-Jitsu is the greatest gift you can ever give a child.
(I don’t just talk the talk – by teaching my daughter Sarah the skills of Jiu-Jitsu at a young age, she developed incredible self-confidence and self-respect. She’s developed into the most incredible woman that I’m so proud of 🤎)
I see such a bright future for our Kids Team – I guarantee you there are future World Champions in this group of incredible children.
I always remind gym owners of the importance of building your Kids Team and Juvenile Team – not only are they the future of your gym, but they’re the future of our sport.
