Atos Jiu-Jitsu finished the weekend at the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation No-Gi World Championships with another historic result, securing Team Overall Adult Male for the eighth time and Team Overall Adult Female for the fourth time.

This year’s No-Gi Worlds was the largest in the event’s history with more than 4,000 registered competitors.
Across all divisions, Atos athletes demonstrated composure and a high level of technical skill.
Several standout performances helped define the team’s success.
Marlon Tajik delivered one of the most dominant runs of the event, earning double gold by winning both his weight and absolute divisions. In his weight class, he finished every match by submission, showcasing decisive execution from start to finish.
Adele Fornorino captured her first IBJJF No-Gi World title, closing the finals with a 19-second submission against Ana Mayordomo. The victory marked a defining moment in the current ADCC Double Gold Champion’s competitive career and stood out as one of the highlights of the women’s divisions.
In the Black Belt adult division, Nico Maglicic, the Australian ADCC Trials champion, confirmed his transition to elite no-gi competition. Competing in his first IBJJF No-Gi World Championship at Black Belt, he dominated the finals with a 15–0 score, securing his first IBJJF world title.
The women’s Black Belt divisions further highlighted the depth of the Atos program. Thais Loureiro claimed the Adult Female Roosterweight World Championship fighting against tough teammate Faye Lynn from Atos ATL, adding another gold medal to the team’s overall performance and reinforcing Atos’ strength in the light divisions.

In the Adult Female Lightweight division, Atos achieved a closeout, with Lillian Marchand defeating her teammate Amanda Bruise in the final. At just 19 years old, Lillian became an IBJJF No-Gi Black Belt World Champion — an exceptional milestone so early in her career.
At the colored belt level, Emily Leyva added to the team’s success by winning the Adult Female Brown Belt Light Featherweight division via submission, showing the strength and consistency of Atos athletes across all belt ranks.
Many Jiu-Jitsu students associate Atos with Gi Jiu-Jitsu… however, we’ve been reigning in No-Gi for the past few years.
At ADCC, we secured 6 World Titles: (Kaynan [x2], Adele [x2], Rafaela Guedes, Felipe Pena.)
And this marks the third year in a row Atos is back to back Adult Male and Female Team No-Gi World Champions (2023, 2024 and 2025.)
As always, Atos Jiu-Jitsu athletes represented the team with professionalism and discipline, applying the same structured training approach used daily across the organization.
These systems are also shared with the wider community through AtosBJJOnDemand.com, where weekly classes and training content are published.
Congratulations to all athletes who competed, and sincere thanks to the coaches, professors and staff whose work behind the scenes made these results possible.
Thank you also to the IBJJF for hosting another outstanding and record-breaking No-Gi World Championship.
We move forward proud of the result — and focused on continuing the work.
The Gi season is next.
OSS.
