This week we’re celebrating our 14th anniversary at the academy.
I remember when I got to San Diego in 2010… We officially opened the gym in September.
Great things happen to me in September. Maybe it’s because it’s my birthday month!
I remember I used to teach only three times a week – Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday.
In the beginning, there were like only ten people at the gym – not even that.
Then little by little, we started increasing the number of students.
The gym started really blowing up in 2011 after my Double Gold ADCC victory.
That’s when we started getting a LOT of members – first fifty, then sixty, then seventy, one hundred…
We just kept growing and growing and growing.
Today, Atos Headquarters has around 750 students training every day.
Since the beginning our goal has always been to innovate Jiu-Jitsu and transform lives.
We’re changing people’s lives, impacting the community, and we’re working to make sure that we develop the best system of Jiu-Jitsu.
Atos HQ is a special place and I’m super happy and glad to celebrate our 14th anniversary.
