Incredible job this weekend by Atos Jiu-Jitsu at the 2024 IBJJF No-Gi Pans! 🔥
I wanted to quickly highlight some of the incredible performances.
Congratulations to Alehander Mariano for winning gold in the Medium-Heavy Division.
Alehander faced tough opponents, defeating Jacob Couch with a score of 5-0 and then beating John Blank in the finals with a solid 4-0 victory.
Although he fell short in the finals of the open class, I was super happy with Alehander’s overall performance.
We also had big wins from Amanda Bruse who became the 2024 lightweight Pan No-Gi Champion.
Everton Souza (who trains alongside Lucas Barbosa at Atos Northwest) also emerged victorious in the Rooster Weight division at Black Belt.
Natã Tenka and Vinicius Inacio both won Golds in the Brown Belt Light Feather division. These guys have been working hard and it’s great to see them performing this well.
Another standout performance came from Thaís Loureiro, a talented athlete from Brazil who trains under Professor Wilson in Victoria.
She took the gold in the Rooster Weight division – adding to our list of champions.
As a team, we secured second place in both the adult male and female categories.
We were just a few competitors this year, and we lost the adult male division by just three points.
This outcome shows just how competitive and skilled our team is.
I couldn’t be prouder 🤜🏽❤️🔥🤛🏽
Oss,
Andre
